I voted USP Expert .45, I know some or maybe more will say the Elite, but it looks a bit long on the slide. The Expert .45 in my book is THE ULTIMATE USP .45, plus it comes with 2 hammers to 'fit in the box'. Both will match the accuracy of the 'cookie cutter 1911 Nighthawk'. The HK USP 45 Elite pistol features a cold hammer-forged barrel with a highly accurate polygonal bore, a patented buffer system to mitigate recoil, a target trigger with an adjustable trigger stop, and an adjustable recessed rear sight.

Expert. Elite is too long. Tactical does not have the match trigger (look it up fellas) and I can't own a suppressor, so the threaded barrel does nothing for me. And if I'm going to have a long barrel, I want the slide long too, like the Expert. The .45 Tactical very much comes with a match trigger. I have Experts in both 9mm and .45, an Elite in 9mm, and a Tactical in .45, plus standard USPs in 9 and .45. The Experts and my Elite are in a whole separate class in regards to triggers and accuracy than the standard models, and have better SA triggers than even the Tactical.
The USP Elite was developed for competition shooters. The USP Elite is an USP Expert with an even longer barrel and slide. This makes it better suited for the highest level of competitive shooting, but lacks the ergonomics of dedicated competition pistols. The Elite is the least common version of the USP and is produced in limited quantities. HK USP expert/elite are horsepistols compared to a 1911. Go hold one, see if it is right for you; the base 12 round magazine makes for a largish grip. Slides are thick. -- Michael. NOT as bad a stock 97b wood grips, holy hell that was a log reach to DA. I’m running slim Lokgrips on it now so it manageable.

The gun was getting smoother and smoother, double action silkier and silkier and it was putting the holes exactly where I wanted them! There was no failures at all, what- so - ever and I am proud of that.

Can a HK45 CT use the same mags as the HK Elite/USP series? I think I read that the HK45 / 45C series just uses the USP line of mags.
